Meet the Intrepid Commanders of
The Last Train from Goldwasser

Steve
Steely-eyed Steve (with dueling scar applied for the occasion) played the much-decorated Gen. Leopold Zinktrumpet, who must now explain to Gen. von Himmelstupper what has become of Himmelstupper's beloved locomotive and command carriage.

Max (lower left)
commanded the British/Thingmin field force as General Bindon Mudd. He personally handled the British gun, cavalry and some of the British and Fellahin infantry, as well as the Thingmin camelry. Only a few of the camels took offense, and his career was not adversely affected.

David (below)
played Lt. Wilkinson Blade, officer in command of Imperial and Fellahin companies, as well as the Thingmin infantry. Here he is seen in a remorseful moment, as he ponders the absence of cork hills.

Play up, play up, and play the game.

Intrepid Brits on the move.

David's impassioned oratory generates the usual degree of intense interest.

A brash young Lieutenant gives a final salute to the brave enemy.

In enterprise of any kind, when there was any fighting,
He led his regiment from behind; he found it less exciting.
But when away his regiment ran, his place was at the fore, O
That celebrated, cultivated, underrated gentleman,
The Hun of Goldwasser, O!
(with apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan)
